Hot Jam Tortilla Donuts

  • 4 large soft La Banderita tortillas
  • 4 heaped tbs of raspberry jam
  • 150g ricotta
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 tbs cinnamon
  • Butter, for brushing
  • Combine sugar and cinnamon together.
  • Pre heat sandwich press and brush with butter.
  • Working with two tortillas at a time, press half of the tortilla into sandwich press cavity.
  • Add a generous dollop of ricotta and jam and fold over to enclose. Brush with more butter and close to toast until golden.
  • Toss jaffles in cinnamon sugar. Trim the sides and serve warm.
