2 tbsp good quality-store bought bbq sauce or tomato sauce
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1 cup freshly grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 170°C.
Mix the filling ingredients together in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Lay tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the filling into 4 even portions and shape into a log on to each tortilla. Roll tortillas over the meat filling to form a sausage roll. Brush egg wash over the sausage rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Trim ends and then cut in half (or in 4 for bite-size sausage rolls). Place on a tray, seam side down. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes. or until gold brown.
